2012 RE-ADOPTIONS
Little Miss Greta was found, to our delight, right next to the twins (Bella & Bennet) at the flea market in Bellingham, Washington. Because Greta is not a 1983 CPK, but a CPK made in 2005, she is in amazing condition....but she was still unloved! Not anymore!!! Greta enjoys Renaissance festivals, lemonade with berries, funky jazz music and having her hair played with. She's a Dancing Queen and is so happy to be preparing for her first airplane ride to her new owner!! Greta is a re-adoption gift from us to a very dear friend, Anntoinette Gullet, in Benbrook, Texas. Anntoinette's heart is almost as big as Greta's, and we know they will bring joy to each other! Greta's birthday is January 8th.
Vanna has chestnut brown hair with bright yellow and pink streaks, pretty hazel eyes, 2 dimples and rosey cheeks. Vanna is intelligent and funky. She wants to be everybody's friend, and is the best friend everybody could have. She likes every food, except for chocolate. Her favorite Power Ranger is the yellow one, her favorite movie is My Littlest Pony Rainbow Dash Adventures, and her favorite thing to do on a Sunday is jump on beds to wake everyone else up! Vanna was found in a thrift store in Mt. Vernon, Washington and is currently living with and was re-adopted by the Vancouver Island Rescuer, Emily Bryant. Now Vanna gets all the love she could ever want. Vanna's birthday is March 13th.
Sweet Raimee is a gorgeous long blonde-haired, big green-eyed lovable CPK with all of her teeth!!! Raimee was found in a thrift store in Bellingham, Washington on August 24th. Raimee is funky and fun, sweet and sassy....and loves puppies, swimming and the smell of roses. Her favorite movie is The Never Ending Story and she can't get enough chocolate, chocolate chip milkshakes! Raimee can cure any sickness with one big hug. She has been re-adopted by Dee Helms, a Texas TaskForce Rescuer. Raimee isn't lonely anymore, thanks to Dee! Raimee's birthday is October 31st.
Sweet, smiley, Teagan is green-eyed, 2 dimpled little ginger-top! She's very friendly and has a lot of friends....but she's also a fire-y red-head that will stand up for herself. Teagan is everyone's best friend and loves sharing her clothes and toys. She loves tea-parties (with lemonade), having her hair played with, Disney movies and snuggling! Teagan was rescued from a thrift store in Mt. Vernon, Washington on August 24th. She's a big talker and will tell stories about her life in the Cabbage Patch all day long. Layla is also a Cabbage Patch Baby! She's about half the size of a normal CPK, but has twice the heart. She has golden hair, brilliant blue eyes and a goofy 2-toothed smile! She's got her tongue sticking out because she's so silly! She loves lollipops, laying in the sunshine, swings, telling silly jokes and hot chocolate with marshmallows. Layla was found in a thrift store in Mt. Vernon, Washington. She was happy to be rescued and hopes to find a permanent home soon. She promises to make you giggle! Layla's birthday is May 2nd. Layla was re-adopted on August 25th, 2011 by Anntoinette Gullet in Benbrook, Texas! She will be joining Greta when they leave Washington, and can't wait to get to hug Anntoinette!
Nuller is an auburn-haired, brown-eyed, 2-toothed darling. She loves sliding at the park, flying kites, chasing butterflies, fresh cherries and playing with make-up! She also likes to dress up like a princess. Nuller was rescued from a thrift store in Surrey, B.C. Canada on August 25th. She was thrilled to leave the store, and can't wait to find a loving family to adore her. Nuller's birthday is October 8th. ***Nuller was re-adopted by Graham and Rita Baker in Courtenay, B.C., on August 28th and she couldn't have gone to a more needed or better home. Rita is Danish, so she opted to change her new friends' name from Malia, to "Nuller," which is Danish means, "Precious." It's pronounced, "New-lah) and it was the nickname Rita's mother gave her as a child! Read this very special re-adoption story HERE!
Tiny Peyton has snow-white hair and lavender eyes! She's a CPK baby and loves, loves, loves to play, play, play, play! Peyton likes doing puzzles, going to the petting zoo, getting piggy back rides, putting on perfume and anything sweet to eat! Peyton was rescued from a thrift store in Delta, B.C. Canada on August 25th. Since being at Rescuer Headquarters, Peyton has made quick friends with the other CPKs. Her birthday is December 1st. Peyton was re-adopted on August 27th by Alyssa Green, in Courtenay, B.C. and is SO excited to get some big hugs from Alyssa.
Mr. Bailey is a tiny Cabbage Patch Baby. He has a cute tuft of black hair on the top of his head and honey-colored eyes. Bailey is about a little less than half the size of a normal CPK, and SO cute! He has a permanent smile on his tiny face with 2 dimples, and rosey cheeks. He was rescued in Mt. Vernon, Washington, on August 24th. Bailey is a mischief maker! He likes to find small spaces to hide in, and always wins at Hide and Seek! He loves caramel popcorn, scary movies (NOT Chuckie, though), riding in backpacks and purses, and cuddling up at night in warm blankets. Bailey's birthday is May 4th. Bailey was re-adopted by Kaiti Minshull in Surrey, B.C. on August 31st. He is absolutely elated to get to Canada and start giving Kaiti BIG hugs!!!!
Abigail is a sweet CPK Baby that was rescued from a Garage Sale in Bellingham, WA on August 27th. She has cute red hair, light brown eyes, 1 dimple and her tongue sticking out! Abigail was so excited to come with The Rescuers, she nearly jumped into our truck! She loves snowflakes, hot chocolate, snowmen, and anything to do with winter! Abigail loves wearing scarves, hats and mittens. Her favorite foods are Slurpees and beef jerky. Abigail's birthday is November 16th. Abigail was re-adopted by Andy Jenkins in Vancouver, B.C. on August 31st. Andy is anxiously awaiting the arrival of Abigail on September 6th...and was promised a big Slurpee when they meet!
Sweet Kelsey is a brilliantly blue-eyed, long, blonde-haired, freckle-faced Kid with a cute dimple on her chin!! Kelsey is a 20th Anniversary Kid, so she's a little bigger than the normal Kid. Kelsey was rescued from a Garage Sale in Ferndale, WA on August 27th. She likes horses, big fluffy pillows, jelly-filled donuts, hanging out with her friends, and staying up late! Kelsey's got lots of hugs to give!! Her birthday is August 15th. Kelsey was adopted on September 1st by Rachel Bailey, a HUGE CPK lover. Kelsey has a LOT now that she's in Massachusetts!
Melodie is a shy and quiet dark brown-haired, deep blue-eyed sweetheart with one dimple and a gorgeous smile. Melodie was rescued from a thrift store in Bellingham, Washington on August 24th. She adores birds of all kinds! Especially birds that sing....because Melodie loves to sing, too. She enjoys nature, the out-doors and hiking. Her favorite foods are apples with peanut butter, spaghetti, and coconut cream pie. She's ready for a good, loving home where she will get the attention and love she deserves! Email us about Melodie! Melodie's birthday is August 30th. She is SO happy to be moving to Massachusetts, since she was re-adopted on September 1st by Rachel Bailey! She even said she will try some seafood since she'll be living on the east coast!
Sweet Shelby was also donated by BRIAN at Airport Storage in Bellingham, Washington, on September 5th. Shelby likes the circus, hot dogs, dancing, playing board games, playing "school" with her friends, giving big hugs and holding babies. Shelby also really likes Cherry Jolly Ranchers! She has a LOT of love to give, and at one time, before her rescue, she was loved! In the pocket of her overalls, the Rescuers found a cut out paper heart. Shelby's birthday is November 2nd.
Shelby was adopted on September 8th by Elizabeth Lipman in Frisco, Texas!! Elizabeth was a very special baby, and at the least, she was a miracle. When Elizabeth was born, she went through several problems in the hospital, but is now a bubbly, lively and loving little 18 month toddler full of life and energy! Shelby and Elizabeth are a perfect fit, and both deserve some special love!
Tiny Trenton is another CPK baby. He has blonde hair, blue eyes and rosey cheeks! Trenton was rescued from a Goodwill store in Bellingham, Washington on September 3rd. Trenton is a sweet little boy with a huge heart. He loves Legos, building blocks, Tonka Trucks and playing hide and go seek. His favorite food is mashed potatoes; favorite cartoon is The Flintstones; favorite song is "You Are My Sunshine," and his favorite Disney movie is The Lion King! Trenton's birthday is July 27th. Trenton was adopted by Graham Baker in Courtenay, B.C. Canada on September 24th. After seeing the love that Nuller has given to his wife, Rita, Graham decided that he needed a little buddy, and Nuller needed another CPK friend with her! We are positive that Trenton will be given LOTS of hugs and love everyday now!
Ricky is a handsome brown-haired, brown-eyed Kid with 2 big dimples! Ricky was rescued on October 16th from a Goodwill in Bellingham, Washington. Ricky came to us, all decked out in his Ring Master outfit. He adores the circus, especially the lions, elephants, clowns and the high-wire acts! He's very friendly and loves to meet people. Ricky's favorite foods are: cotton candy, hot dogs and popcorn (all of the foods you'd find at a circus!) Ricky's birthday is December 12th. Ricky was re-adopted by AJ - a very tough kid at the Children's Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, on November 1st, 2011. AJ passed away days before he was able to see Ricky...but AJ's mom is keeping Ricky in AJ's room, so that Ricky's positive energy can stay with him.
Sweet Savannah is a little CPK with big brown eyes, 2 little bottom teeth, and fun, crazy brown hair. She was rescued from a thrift store in Mount Vernon, Washington on September 21st. Savannah is a hyper little thing. She's an Olympic Kid, so she likes EVERY kind of sport, especially baseball and soccer. Savannah also likes hot chocolate, watching Dora The Explorer on tv, snacking on fresh fruit (mango is her favorite), and practicing gymnastics every chance she gets! Savannah's birthday is August 24th. Savannah was adopted on November 3rd by Ann Gauthier in Boston, Massachusetts. Ann is the mother of a very special kid that went through some very serious medical conditions. AJ passed away days before he got his CPK, Ricky. Savannah promises to look after Ann when she's feeling sad or lonely and missing AJ.
Kenzie is a smiley, blue-eyed, brown-haired sweetheart. The pink in her hair changes color when heats hits it! Kenzie was rescued on September 21st from Goodwill in Mount Vernon, Washington. She likes museums of all kinds, being read to, arts and crafts, super sour pickles, and somersaults! Kenzie is very friendly and very smart! She loves teaching the other Kids at Headquarters about history and science. Her birthday is December 17th. Kenzie was re-adopted on November 4th by Sarah in El Cajon, California. Sarah has a lot of love to give to Kenzie, and a lot in common with her! Kenzie can't wait to get to Sarah's house, where she has clothes and hugs waiting for her! They are the perfect match! Lanie was rescued from North Vancouver, B.C. on August 25th. Lanie is a sandy blonde-haired, chestnut brown-eyed Kid with a silly smile with her tongue sticking partially out. She loves being a ballerina, music boxes, jelly beans, sunny days and spinning in circles! If you snuggle with Lanie, she'll fall right to sleep. Her birthday is May 8th. Lanie was re-adopted on November 10th, by a women's shelter in Bellingham, and was specifically chosen for one of their patrons.
Nadia is a gorgeous dark-skinned, brown-eyed, Black-haired princess with two teeth! She was rescued from a Garage Sale in Bellingham, WA on August 27th and is definitely ready for a new home! Nadia loves flowers and gardens....and insects! She's very curious about bugs - especially ladybugs. She is fun and out-going, but likes her time for snuggling! She enjoys cheeseburgers, and strawberry milkshakes. She's the perfect friend to take on a walk, especially if you plan to pick some flowers! Nadia's birthday is March 9th. Jocelyn is CPK Baby with olive skin, 2 teeth in her little smile, light brown eyes and dark brown hair. She has a dimple on one cheek, too! She was rescued on September 3rd from a Salvation Army Thrift Store in Bellingham, Washington. Jocelyn is a very loving and happy baby. She's carefree and always smiling! She loves vegetables, spicy food, Rice Krispy treats and jelly beans. Jocelyn can watch Disney Pixar movies all day ... or to be read books for hours! She's definitely a cuddler, so get ready for BIG hugs from Jocelyn! Her birthday is November 1. Jocelyn was re-adopted on November 10th, by a women's shelter in Bellingham, and was specifically chosen for one of their patrons.
Lydia is a gorgeous light-brown-eyed, brown-haired CPK with one dimple. She loves building blocks, which she creates neat building with, origami, knitting and spinning in circles until she gets dizzy! Her favorite drink is orange soda, and she loves watching Bugs Bunny cartoons. She was rescued from a thrift store in Delta, B.C., Canada on September 12th. BIIIIIIIG hugs are her specialty, especially at night while she sleeps. Lydia's birthday is October 11th. Lydia was re-adopted on November 10th, by a women's shelter in Bellingham, and was specifically chosen for one of their patrons.
Delaney is a sweet, lavender-eyed, brown-haired Kid with lots of teeth! Delaney was rescued on September 22nd from Bargain Galore Thrift Store in Mt Vernon, Washington. She loves jump-rope, ice-cream, and cuddling on the couch watching movies. She's a hyper little Kid, and has a lot of energy! Her favorite thing to do on a Sunday is jump-rope with her friends. Her favorite kind of ice cream is chocolate chip cookie dough. Her favorite Disney character is Snow White, and she'll listen to you read the book at least 3 times every night before bed. Delaney's birthday is December 16th. Delaney was re-adopted on November 10th, by a women's shelter in Bellingham, and was specifically chosen for one of their patrons.
Meet Danika!!! Danika is a Cabbage Patch Baby with long brown hair, emerald green eyes, 1 dimple and rosey cheeks! She LOVES cupcakes! Especially cupcakes with sprinkles (and extra frosting)! Danika loves piano music and will sit and listen for hours. She really likes surprises, and is always giving surprises, too. If there is a reason to have a party, Danika will find it. She is very lovable and snuggly! Danika was rescued from a thrift store in Mt. Vernon, Washington on August 24th. Danika's birthday is November 15th. Danika was re-adopted on November 10th, by a women's shelter in Bellingham, and was specifically chosen for one of their patrons.
Callie Mae and her kitty, Mimi were rescued by Bryan Thompson on September 11th from Bellingham, Washington! Callie Mae is an 8-toothed, rosey-cheeked, black-haired, brown-eyed and one dimpled little cutie with olive skin. She loves playing dress up (and dressing Mimi, too!), roller-skating, coloring with chalk on the sidewalk, watching romantic comedy movies and eating ice cream! Callie mae does everything with Mimi, and both are VERY happy little girls. Callie Mae's birthday is January 28th. Callie Mae was re-adopted on November 10th, by a women's shelter in Bellingham, and was specifically chosen for one of their patrons.
Sweet Amelia is a bright red-haired, glittery blue-eyed, 2-dimpled Kid with a huge heart. She was rescued from a thrift store in Surrey, B.C., Canada on November 5th and couldn't wait to come home with the Rescuers! She's VERY affectionate and lovey, always wanting hugs, kisses and cuddles. She's always the first to suggest a tea party with blackberry tea, orange scones and a lot of friends! She's mild-mannered and very smart! She enjoys outtings to the park, picnics, lazy rainy days inside, and making you giggle with silly jokes. Amelia's birthday is April 27th. Amelia was re-adopted on November 9th by a sweet little 4 year old in North Carolina. Leia is too young to realize what epilepsy is...but she deals with it daily. Amelia will be there to comfort little Leia as she grows up, spends time in hospitals, and learns how to deal with her disorders.
Jada is a sweet dark skinned CPK with dark hair and chocolate brown eyes. She was donated by ANN in FORT WORTH, TEXAS on September 5th and re-adopted by little 6 month old Sha'nay, in Texas. Rescuer Anntoinette organized the re-adoption for Sha'nay. Jada is a spunky and fun-loving CPK, who loves to giggle, dress up, be hugged and ride in her stroller! Her most favorite thing in the whole world is to be a best friend to Sha'nay, and baby Sha'nay will grow up with Jada by her side. Jada loves to learn new things, color in coloring books, play in the sand box, pick flowers and have her hair played with. Her favorite foods are orange sherbet, celery sticks with peanut butter and spiced apple cider! Jada's birthday is May 11th.
Lily was rescued from a thrift store in Mount Vernon, Washington on September 21st. She's bigger than the normal CPK, with bright brown eyes, black hair and a unique little smile. Lily loves the beach! She likes listening to the waves crash, watching the seagulls fly, poking sea anemones to watch them move, building sand castles and having picnics by the ocean! Her favorite foods are: cheese and crackers, blackberry iced tea, celery sticks and chicken strips! Lily's birthday is June 3rd. Lily was re-adopted by Ashlee in California on December 15th.
Brigit is a bouncy blonde-haired, green-eyed, toothy Kid with a huge smile! She was rescued on October 9th from a thrift store in Surrey, B.C., Canada. Brigit can't get enough of anything sweet! She likes cupcakes, pudding, cotton candy, and cookies! She loves going to carnivals and also loves having sleep-overs with her CPK friends! Every night is a slumber party for brigit - playing with hair, eating sweets, gossiping and telling secrets and playing games! She's a cuddly little thing and will give you hugs all night, if you hold her! Brigits birthday is July 14th. Brigit was re-adopted by Victoria in Ohio on March 18th, and is now SO happy, her goofy smile is even bigger!
This is Whitney! She's a rambunctious, fun-loving and outgoing tom-boy! Whitney has strawberry-blonde hair, sparkling blue eyes and a silly crooked grin! She was found in a thrift store in Bellingham, Washington on August 24th, and was so excited to come home with The Rescuers! She loves playing in the mud, watching football on tv, getting grass stains on her best clothes and climbing trees. Her favorite foods are mud-pies, berries and cheese burgers. Whitney is waiting for a special home to go to and give lots energetic hugs to her new family. Whitney's birthday is April 12th. Whitney was re-adopted on February 6th, 2012 by NuNu Noravong in Tennessee.
Tiny Isabel is a spunky little thing! She has out of control blonde hair, light blue eyes and a smile that would melt anyone. Isabel was rescued from a Garage Sale in Bellingham, WA on August 27th. She loves the movie Aladdin, playing with building blocks, classical music (Tchaikovsky is her favorite), freshly baked pies and petting furry kitties! Isabel's birthday is February 16th. Isabel

Macy is a cute blonde-haired, teal-eyed kid with 2 cute little teeth. She was rescued from a thrift store in Surrey, B.C., Canada on November 19th. Macy is a sporty Kid! She likes soccer, playing frizbee, volleyball, tennis and softball, and loves being a team leader! She's sweet, but very competitive and always wants to win! She would rather go for a walk or play a game outside, than sit inside and watch TV. She's very active and is always ready for a new adventure. Her favorite foods are: chicken nuggets, corn and grape juice. Macy's birthday is January 12th. Macy was re-adopted in August, 2012.
Sassy is a sweet, little rosy-cheeked, brilliant blue-eyed Kid with crazy hair! Sassy was generously donated by Graham and Rita Baker on Vancouver Island, Canada on March 24th, 2012. Sassy is a spunky little girl with a lot of energy! She's a very giving and compassionate Kid, who is always smiling and looking out for everyone else. She loves slumber parties and roller skating! Her favorite foods are: apples and peanut butter, Danish meatloaf, yams and strawberry Kool Aid. Sassy's birthday is April 6th. Sassy was re-adopted in August, 2012.
Jenica is a baby CPK with 2 dimples, rosey cheeks, brown eyes and a brown tuft of hair on top of her head. She's giggly and sweet and a great friend to have! She was rescued from a Goodwill store in Bellingham, Washington on November 5th. Jenica likes coloring in coloring books, having her picture taken, building little forts, watching cartoons and being tickled! Her favorite foods are: sour pickles, mac-n-cheese, red grapes and root beer. She's always up for a new adventure, and loves using her imagination, especially outdoors! Her birthday is January 29th.

Beckie was donated by a wonderful lady named Nancy in June, 2012. Beckie is a bean bag CPKwith cute blue eyes and a pacifier. She loves to learn and be read to! She will fit right under your arm and listen intently as you read a story or novel to her....and her imagination will carry her away! She's a smart CPK and always ready to find a new hobby and interest. Her favorite time of day is nap time, when she can cuddle up to you and drift off to a happy sleep. Her favorite TV show is The Golden Girls and her favorite foods are baked potatoes, lemonade with strawberries in it and chicken nuggets. Beckie's birthday is July 12th. Beckie was re-adopted by Jenn in Vermont in August, 2012.
Noah is a goofy, rosy-cheeked Kid with brown hair and brown eyes. He was generously donated by Alexis in Canada on December 20, 2011. Noah is a jokster! He loves playing tricks on people (all in fun, of course), putting on magic shows and telling knock knock jokes! He is a big fan of Jim Carey, and loves watching his movies. He's a big sweetheart that will put a big smile on your face! His favorite snacks are: s'mores, Laffy Taffy (because he wants the jokes!) and bubble gum! Noah's birthday is September 13th. Noah was re-adopted by Jenn in Vermont, in August 2012.
Graham is a happy, blue-eyed, bald-headed premie that was rescued on September 22nd from Bargain Galore Thrift Store in Mt Vernon, Washington. Graham's favorite thing in the whole wide world is elephants! One day, Graham would like to be able to ride on one and feed it peanuts! His favorite places to go are the circus and the zoo, because that's where he gets to see the elephants. He loves the movie Dumbo and is favorite food is peanut butter! Graham's birthday is January 27th. Graham was re-adopted by Jenn in Vermont, in August 2012.
Happy Julia is a Giggles and Wiggles CPK, when you press on her belly she wiggles and.....you guessed it! Giggles! Julia has brown hair with little pigtails on top, brown eyes, 3 teeth (2 on top and 1 on bottom) and rosey, rosey cheeks! Julia loves the zoo...and seeing the elephants, especially!! She likes piggy-back rides, fruit salad, whipped cream on everything, playing peek-a-boo, and being tickled! Julia was rescued September 3rd from a Goodwill Store in Bellingham, Washington. Her birthday is April 21st. Julia was re-adopted by Jenn in Vermont, in August 2012.
Alecia was donated by a wonderful lady named Nancy in June, 2012. She is a beautiful dark skinned, dark eyed and dark hair little CPK with one cute dimple! Alecia is a big music fan. She will hum or sing whenever she can, and loves to try new musical instruments. She likes everything from the classics: Ella Fitzgeral to Dean Martin....to country, rap, classical and classic rock. Besides music, Alecia loves to play school, and really likes being the student! Her favorite foods are oranges, oatmeal raisin cookies and chocolate malts! Alecia's birthday is January 3rd.

Kennedy was donated by a wonderful lady named Nancy in June, 2012. Kennedy is a red haired, green eyed, two dimpled and one toothed little girl. Kennedy really likes animals, especially cats. She will convince you to adopt an animal at any shelter, and will give it super duper loves! She's kind, generous and very soft spoken. Kennedy loves having pet fish, because she can watch them swim around for hours. Her favorite movie is Dr. Doolittle and her favorite place to eat is Olive Garden! Kennedy's birthday is December 21st.
